Pauline Simpson

Pauline Simpson, 96, formerly of Chauncey, went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 15, 2018 at Pataskala Oaks Care Center.  She was born July 13, 1921 in Athens County, the daughter of the late Blaine and Polly McKinney Bullock.  She was married to the late Chester A, Simpson for 58 years.

She lived most of her life in Chauncey and was a member of Chauncey Faith Chapel.

She is survived by her children, Lester (Cherie) Simpson of Newark and Phyllis (Steve) Noggle of Harpster; daughter-in-law, Pleasant Monet Simpson of Canal Winchester; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 21 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Helen Slisher of Chauncey and a brother, Charles Bullock of Nelsonville.

In addition to her parents and husband, Pauline was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Simpson; a daughter, Grace Jolly; a granddaughter, Karen Marie Jolly; brothers, Lawrence, Robert and Paul Bullock; sisters, Iva Bullock, Edna Stalling, Maxine Smith, Margie Bentley and Lucille Sisson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville with Rev. Jonathan Noggle officiating. Interment will be at Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield. Friends may call Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
