Ralph Richard "Dick" Bond

Ralph Richard “Dick” Bond, 88, of Gahanna, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023, at Sage Park in Gahanna. He was born October 1, 1934, in Nelsonville, the son of the late Lawrence R. Bond and Naomi (McMinnis) Bond France. He was married to his beloved wife of 30 years, the late Alfretta (Horn) Bond.

Dick was a graduate of Nelsonville High School and attended the Church of the Good Shephard in Gahanna. He retired from AT&T after years and proudly served in the US Army.

Dick is survived by his sisters, Joellen “Jody” Abdella of Chauncey and Barbara McDonald of Buchtel; and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife; Dick was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Freeman; brother, David France; and grandparents, Simon and Ida (Lehman) Bond and Wesley S. and Emma (Green) McMannis.

The family will have a graveside service at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
