Ray Leslie Mcfarland

Ray Leslie McFarland, 89, of South Bloomingville, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Reflections Assisted Living in Lancaster, Ohio.  He was born May 29, 1931, in St. Louis, Missouri, son of the late Jesse and Inez Boland McFarland.  Ray was married to the late Barbara Blair McFarland.

He was a retired speech therapist and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Ray is survived by his grandsons, Josh (Erica) Jones of Beaver, Jason Jones of Piketon and Jeffrey Jones of Troy; seven great grandchildren; brother, Jerry McFarland of Belton, Missouri; sister, Sandy (Dale) Brown of Farmington, Missouri; special friend, Linda Mouser and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, David Todd McFarland; daughter, Leslie Ann McFarland and brothers, Robert D. and John J. McFarland.

A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2021, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Chaplain Daniel Fullen officiating.  Inurnment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, at a later date.  No calling hours will be observed.
