Reba Pinney

Reba Pinney, 90, of Lancaster, formerly of Logan, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster.  She was born June 8, 1927 in Vinton County, daughter of the late Perry Judd and Mabel Gladys Gaskill Pinney.

She was a Professor of Education at Ohio University for over 40 years and a member of the St. John Episcopal Church in Lancaster.

She is survived by a brother, Robert (Ann) Pinney of Logan and nieces, Traci Carpenter of Grove City and Lisa Provan of Florida.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Ruth Pinney and a brother, Charles Pinney.

Ms. Pinney’s wishes were to be cremated and there will be no services. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
