In March of 1932, Elsie and Lotus Salyer welcomed their youngest of four children into the world. They named her Rhodora, after the beautiful flower her father saw on the French countryside while he served in the First World War.
Rhodora lived up to her name, spreading beauty wherever she went. For 88 years she made this world a better place.
The seeds of love and joy Rhodora sowed have taken root in those who remember her. She is loved by her son, Michael Moore, her daughter, Shannon Moore, a Dachshund, Daisy, a pair of Jack Russells, Skippy and Buddy, a cat, Biscuit, and all others who knew her. As long as birds sing and flowers grow, she will be with us.
No services will be held. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
