Richard L. Moore

Richard L. Moore, 91, of Rockbridge, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 27, 1925 in Licking County, Ohio son of the late Thomas and Olive Amore Moore. He was married to Rhodora Jean Salyer Moore who survives for 67 years.

Richard was a self-employed landscape maintenance contractor. He was greatly loved and will be sadly missed.

Along with his wife, he is survived by son, Michael L. Moore of Rockbridge; daughter, Shannon Lee Moore, DVM, of Rockbridge; beloved dogs, “Skippy” and “Buddy” and cat, “Biscuit”; nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Richard was preceded in death by brother, Russell Moore.

No services will be held, and arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
