Richard William Pettet

Richard William Pettet, 57, of McArthur, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017.  He was born July 2, 1960 in New Lexington, Ohio, son of Philip R. and Cora Mae Jividen Pettet of Albany.

Richard was a member of Laborers Union 423, the McArthur VFW and the McArthur Eagles.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons, James (Holly) Pettet of Wilkesville and Timothy Pettet of The Plains; grandchildren, Jaclyn, Logan and Ellie; brother, Roger Pettet of Cincinnati; his friend, Lisa Bay and the mother of his children, Rebecca Pettet of Zaleski.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, December 7, 2017 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Bob Jividen officiating.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in memory of Richard William Pettet to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, P.O. Box 522, Cincinnati, Ohio 45201-5202.
