Richard "Rick" Paul Blount Sr.

Richard Paul “Rick” Blount Sr., 69, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the Kobacker House in Columbus.  He was born January 19, 1949 in Charleston, West Virginia, son of the late Jesse Paul and Eva Mae Haggerty Blount.

Rick owned, and operated Air Comfort Systems Inc. formerly known as Universal Heating and A/C in Logan and was a former member of Sheet Metal Workers Union #98.  He loved sports and was a huge Browns and Cav’s fan.  Rick also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his sons, Richard Paul Blount Jr. of Logan and Michael Vincent (Shannon) Blount of Rockbridge; daughters, Nicki (Ramey Householder) Belcher of Logan and Krista (Cody) Rollins of Logan; grandchildren, Megan, Michael Tyler, Christian, Abby, Rylann, Hemi and Willow; great grandchild, Eli; sisters, Patty (Scott) Church of Hilliard and Paula (David) Black of Marysville; significant other, Robin Belcher of Logan; the mother of his children, Pixie Russell Enderle of Rockbridge and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Renee and brothers John and Mike Blount.

A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.  Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
