Rita Joanne Daubenmire

Rita Joanne Daubenmire, 79, of Sugar Grove, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021, at her residence.  She was born November 13, 1942, in Hocking County, Ohio, daughter of the late John F. and Mary R. Canty Auker.  Rita was the widow of the late Ronald E. Daubenmire.

She is survived by her son, Michael Daubenmire of Sugar Grove; daughters, Deb Daubenmire and Laura (Ron) Stilson, both of Sugar Grove; grandchildren, Jeremy (Krista Courter) Daubenmire, Joshua (Julie) Daubenmire, Jason (Holly Loper) Daubenmire, Justin (Lacy Myers) Daubenmire and Alyssa (Walker) Conley Daubenmire, all of Logan, Cody Daubenmire and Corbin (Alicia Bagent) Daubenmire, both of Sugar Grove; fourteen great grandchildren; sister, Patricia (Marvin) McDaniel of Union Furnace; sister-in-law, Sharon Shannon of Logan and friends, Mona Daubenmire and Pamela Kirkpatrick Daubenmire.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rita was preceded in death by her brothers, William and John Thomas Auker.

A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2021, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Charles Fidler officiating.  Interment will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
