Rita Ann Ghearing

Rita Ann Ghearing, 72, of McArthur, passed away Friday September 22, 2017 at Maple Hill Nursing Home in McArthur. She was born June 16, 1945 in McArthur, Ohio, daughter of the late Oliver Leonard and Ruby Charlotte Campbell Taylor. She was married to the late Joseph C. Ghearing.

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse, and worked at various nursing homes in the area and for the VA. Member of Pleasant Valley Trinity Church. She enjoyed reading, and had a love for animals of all kinds.

Rita is survived by her caring brother, Rev. Jim (Carolyn) Taylor of McArthur; several nieces and nephews.

No services will observed at this time, and a private memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
