Robert E Steele

Robert E. Steele, 60, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.  He was born August 22, 1957 in Toledo, Ohio, son of the late Boyd and Eva May Lindhorst Steele.

He formerly worked at Union Spring Manufacturing Company in Chillicothe and was a member of the McArthur Free Will Baptist Church.

Bob is survived by his son, Robert “Derek” Steele of McArthur; daughter, Jerricka (Rod) Denner of McArthur; grandchildren, Autumn Brooke Adams and Kaylee Grace Steele; brothers, Boyd L. (Brenda) Steele of Toledo, Pat (Betty) Steele of McArthur, Jeff (Gro) Steele of New Plymouth, Paul (Christine) Steele of McArthur and Joe Steele of Chillicothe; sisters, Kathy Sagraves Faulkner of McArthur, Karen Spurling of Wilkesville and Ivy (Larry) McCollum of Londonderry along with his very extended family of nieces and nephews including Eddie (Lisa) Sagraves and Phyllis (Frank) Perry and his former wife, Lynn Herrold.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Steele.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, February 5, 2018 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jim Henderson officiating.  Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 6-8 p.m.
