Robert “Bob” Glandon, 91, of McArthur, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024, at Buckeye Forest of Jackson. He was born December 24, 1932, in Londonderry, Ohio, son of the late Owen and Bernice Teeters Glandon. Bob was married to the late Janice M. Crow Glandon.
Bob owned and operated Glandon Lumber Company in McArthur and was a member of the Ashland Mustang Car Club. He was an avid supporter of the Vinton County 4-H program and will be greatly missed by his friends in the mornings at Mama Renies.
Bob is survived by his grandchildren, Brian (Jennifer) Radcliff of McArthur and Amy Radcliff of Creola; great grandchildren, Marcus and Tatus Radcliff and Wyatt, River and Abigail Bakies; brothers, Ovid and Roger Glandon; sisters, Judy Ollie, Norma Henderson and Betty Baxter; numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend, Jason Good.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Cassandra Radcliff; brothers, Estell, Ron and Jim Glandon and sister, Louise Ray.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, February 1, 2024, in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
