Robert Lee Carpenter

Robert Lee Carpenter, 84, of New Plymouth, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at his residence. He was born March 8, 1936 in Vinton County, Ohio, son of the late Rothbe F. and Sylvia Walkenswanz Carpenter. Robert was married to the late Agnes Willingham Carpenter.
He retired from Buckeye Automatic and was a farmer and timberman. Robert was a member of Coonville Holiness Church.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy (Leroy) Truman of Chillicothe.
In addition to his parents and wife, Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Anna Mae Carpenter.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2020, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. James Mathias officiating. Interment will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
