Robert L. Guisinger

Robert L. Guisinger, 74, of Logan, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center. He was born April 22, 1947, in New Straitsville, Ohio, son of the late Robert and Norma Jones Guisinger.

Robert was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, serving in Vietnam where he was awarded a Purple Heart. He was a member of Capstone Life Tabernacle in Logan. He formerly worked at Diamond Power in Lancaster and he retired from King Lumber in Logan.

Robert is survived by his son, Billy Guisinger; daughters, Stephanie Veppert, Christina Guisinger, Angela Kerley, Jennifer Bolyard, and Sharon Mattingly; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister, Linda Bunthoff of Logan; and special friends, Jim and Angela Finley of Logan.

Funeral services for Robert will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 19, 2021, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor Stephen DeLong officiating. Interment in Gore Cemetery, Gore, Ohio. Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
