Robert H. Kight

Robert H. Kight, 86, of McArthur, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Maple Hills Nursing Home in McArthur.  He was born June 7, 1937, in Richmond Dale, Ohio, son of the late Clarence Kight and Marcella Hatfield Miller.  Robert was married for 58 years to Nancy J. Tripp Kight, who survives.

He is survived by his children, David (Teresa) Kight of McArthur, Bryan (Melissa) Kight of Frankfort, Kimberly (Dan) Wheeler of McArthur, Matt (Onnesty) Kight of McArthur, Jason (Margaret) Kight of Frankfort and Adam (Jasmine) Kight of Sumter, South Carolina; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild on the way that is due in May; brother, Ronald Kight of Ashville, Ohio; sister, Patricia Robinson of Jackson and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several siblings.

Following Robert’s wishes, no services will be held.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
