Robert "Rocky" Emelianchik

Robert (Rocky) Emelianchik, born in Brooklyn NY on December 8, 1937, passed peacefully on December 9, 2021.

He graduated from Lincoln HS in Brooklyn and was recruited by Woody Hayes to play football for Ohio State University. He sure loved Woody. He was No. 36, fullback 1958 & 1959. Rocky used to say, Woody worked me real hard through the week and let me rest on Saturdays.

After college he taught school for a while then sold insurance where he managed an office in Lancaster Ohio and Parkersburg W VA.

He retired in 2002 and moved to Florida where he sold golf carts and golfed as much as he could.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie, son Dr Anthony (Tony) Emelianchik, daughter Robin Emelianchik, step sons Marc (Kris) Erlenback, Greg Erlenbach. Grandchildren Alexandra, Cassandra and AJ Emelianchik,  Step granddaughter, Tiffany Hafer; step great granddaughter Kylah Perez and brother, Pete Emelianchik.

There will be a celebration of life in Hideaway Hills Ohio in the Summer of 2022.
