Robert "Bob" Staten

Robert “Bob” Staten, 77, of Logan, passed away Sunday February 7, 2021 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan.  He was born September 27, 1943, son of June D. Higgins Staten of Logan and the late Charles E. Staten.

Bob was retired Auto Mechanic and worked at various locations throughout his lifetime.  He was an avid car enthusiast, loved playing BINGO any chance he got, listening to the sounds of Motown music and WWE Wrestling.  He was greatly loved and will be sadly missed.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, Charles (Cheryll) Staten of Logan; sister, Linda Jordan of Logan; nieces and nephews; including those who served as his special caregivers the last few years of his life: Lisa (Steve) Castle, Crystal (Billy) Nye and John (Jenny) Jordan.

In addition to his father, Bob was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherri Staten; brother, William Staten; brother in law, John Jordan; sister in law, Mary Jane Staten.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday February 18, 2021 at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.  Rev. Charles Fidler officiating.  Graveside service and interment will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, 8029 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068.  Friends may visit Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
