Robert J. Verity

Robert J. Verity, 88, of Logan, passed away Tuesday July 3, 2018 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital. He was born September 14, 1929 in Chauncey, Ohio son of the late William and Esther Warren Verity. He was married to Patricia N. Sigler Verity who passed away January 25, 2011.

Robert was an Army Veteran of the Korean War Era, and was a Laborer and worked for Carborundum in Logan. He was greatly loved by his family and will be sadly missed.

He is survived by his daughters, Regina Verity of Logan and Renata Verity of Glouster; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister Mary Lou Ricker of Ottawa; nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents and wife, He was preceded in death by step-mother Mabel Verity; brother, William “Jack” Verity and sister, Carol Douglas.

A Remembrance Tribute with Gathering will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday July 13, 2018 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan. Pastor Doug Stull officiating.  Inurnment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Perry County.  Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
