Roberta Irene Hamon

Roberta Irene Hamon, 83, of McArthur, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at her residence.  She was born January 16, 1940, in Athens, Ohio, daughter of the late Denver and Opal Irene Kirkendall Young.  Roberta was the widow of the late Preston Lee Hamon.

She is survived by her sons, Mark P. (Lorrie) Hamon of Wellston and Steven D. (Lori) Hamon of McArthur; grandchildren, Connier Hamon, Cameron Hamon, Brock (Jakelyn Brown) Hamon and Chelsie (Jeremy) Kight; great grandchildren, Mavrick Hamon, Ian, Ayden and Joey Kight; brothers, Henry Young, David Young, and John Young; and a sister, Janice Hashman.

No services will be held at this time.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
