Rosabelle M. Carpenter

Rosabelle M. Carpenter, 91, of Rockbridge, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster.  She was born August 25, 1925 in Lancaster, daughter of the late Guy and Rose Miller.  Rosabelle was the widow of the late Reese A. Carpenter Sr.

She was a member of the Advent Christian Church in Rockbridge and attended Fairview Methodist Church in Rockbridge.

Rosabelle is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Tracy) Carpenter Sr. of Logan and Reese (Janet) Carpenter Jr. of Rockbridge; daughter, Cynthia (Dana) Edwards of Rockbridge; grandchildren, Jeff (Kendra) Carpenter Jr., Jason (Jen) Carpenter, Candace (Chris) Enmen, Noah (Katelyn Hatem) Carpenter, Nathan (Tammy) Edwards, Joshua Edwards and Jeremy (Melissa) Edwards; twelve great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Miller and sisters, Geraldine Fritz, Florence Sigler, Gladys Tuthill and Helen Devault.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, May 5, 2017 in Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor Jeremy Edwards officiating.  Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday, one hour prior to the service.
