Rose Marie Henry

Rose Marie Henry, 73, of Chauncey, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Riverside Hospital, Columbus.  She was born July 26, 1944 in Columbia, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Ervin Waddell and the late Malinda Sue Micklewait Williams.  She was married to John Henry, who survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by many nieces and nephews including Tina (Jim) Bailey of Nelsonville, Jan (Chuck) Amnah of Logan, Treasa (Terry) Brooks of Logan, Debra Beaver of Logan, Todd (Stephanie) Waddell of Indiana, Doug Waddell of Logan and Everett Lee (Phyliss) Waddell of Nelsonville; her dog/daughter, Goldie; sister, Mary Boyd; brothers, Bill (Louise) Piteroski, Mike Waddell, Jimmy (Jeannie) Waddell, Dale Waddell, Randy Waddell and Ervin Waddell.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by a husband, Kenny Smart, Sr.; sisters, Virginia Holcomb and Rosemary Waddell and brothers, Everett Owen Waddell and Dave Waddell.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 18, 2017 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville with Pastor Jim Bailey officiating. Interment will be at Dawley Cemetery, Hocking County. Friends may call Monday, 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
