Rose Marcella Ratcliff Martin

Rose Marcella Ratcliff Martin, 95, of McArthur, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at her residence.  She was born May 18, 1923 in Vinton County, daughter of the late Clyde and Norma Woltz Ratcliff.  Rose was the widow of the late William Lester Martin.

She is survived by her sons, Jimmy (Loretta) Martin of Hamden, Paul Martin of Salmon, Idaho and Roger (Marnita Reffet) Martin of McArthur; daughters, Judy of Arizona and Carol Sturgill of Kentucky; eight grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; dear friend, Sharia Powell of McArthur and her wonderful neighbors, the LeMay family of McArthur.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her ten siblings.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Danny Minton officiating.  Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Vinton County.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service.
