Roy H. Wells

Roy H. Wells, 69, of The Plains, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Roy was born June 12, 1952, in Columbus, the son of the late Louis and Nettie Bradshaw Wells.

Roy is survived by his sons, Jason Todd Wells of Nelsonville and Joseph Wells of Nelsonville; daughter, Mellany (Dennis Clary) Wells of Lancaster; grandchildren, Brandon Ray Wells, Ryan Adam Wells, Casaundra Coe, and Emily Coe; great grandchildren, Riley Elizabeth Wells, Paisley Hammond, and Weston Kasler; brothers, Noah (Sue) Wells of North Carolina, Ted Wells of Hillsboro, Ohio, and Alfred (Linda) Wells of New Marshfield; sisters, Rachel Wells of New Marshfield and Rose (Kenny) Minehart of Logan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his sisters, Nora McColley and Erma Snyder; and brothers, Edwards Wells, Stevie Wells, and Jack Wells.

A celebration of life service will be scheduled for a later date. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
