Russell Earl Patrick

Russell Earl Patrick, 93, of New Plymouth, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at his residence.  He was born April 9, 1925 in Kimball, West Virginia, son the late Glennie V. and Audrey Cutlip Patrick.  Russell was married for 68 years to Della D. Malone Patrick, who survives.

He was a retired general foreman for Asplundh Tree Service and a WWII Army Veteran.

Russell is survived by his sons, Dave Patrick of New Plymouth, Richard Patrick of Columbus and Jeffrey Patrick of Westerville; daughters, Vickie Steele of New Plymouth and Bobbi (Mike) Morgan of Logan; grandchildren, Scott and Shawn Morgan, Aaron and Patrick Steele and Evan Parker; great grandchildren, Malachi Pelfry, Joe Morgan, Cooper Steele, Sophia Steele and Della Jane Steele; sisters, Wilma and Edith Patrick, both of Marion and a special friend of the family, Cary Evans of Columbus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Vernon and Lee Patrick and sisters, Violet Southward and Frances Patrick.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, August 30, 2018 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Randy Hardman officiating.  Interment will be in New Plymouth Cemetery, New Plymouth, with military graveside services being conducted by the McArthur VFW Post #5299.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
