Ruth Irene Bare

Ruth Irene Bare, 86, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.  She was born October 3, 1930 in Vinton County, daughter of the late Charles G. and Jennie C. Barnett Harper.

Ruth was a member of the McArthur Church of The Nazarene.

She is survived by her son, William “Bill” Bare of McArthur; daughter, Norma Jean (Keith) Bledsoe of Ray; grandson, Travis Bledsoe of Ray; niece, Judy Blevins of Ashland, Kentucky and nephew, Charlie Harper of McArthur.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Glenneth Harper.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, August 7, 2017 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor William Roth officiating.  Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Vinton County.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 6-8 p.m.
