Ruth Elizabeth Seitz

Ruth Elizabeth Seitz, 91, of Londonderry, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at her residence.  She was born September 7, 1925 in Vinton County, daughter of the late Calvin and Ella Scott Waldron.  Ruth was married to Marvin L. Seitz, who survives.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Linda (Ronald) Hopkins of Londonderry and Kathy Seitz of South Bloomingville; granddaughters, Stacy and Shawna Hopkins; great grandchildren, Brittany, Caleb, Conner and Destenei; great great grandchildren, Stratton, Emberly and Sawyer, who is to be born soon; brother, Scott (Rita) Waldron of Chillicothe; sister, Katie Adams of Waverly and her caregivers, Melody Dillie and Marcia James.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Edna Sands and Duddie Davidson.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, June 5, 2017 in Londonderry Cemetery, with Rev. James McFadden officiating.  No calling hours will be observed.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
