Ruth Ann Watts

Ruth Ann Watts, 76, of Logan, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. Ruth was born on February 18, 1947, in Washington County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Norman E. and Mildred (Stenzel) Watts Sr.

Ruth was a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She worked as a photographer for the Wilson Studio in Nelsonville and was a substitute teacher for Logan Schools.

Ruth is survived by her friends and caregivers, Glenda Nihiser, Amy Bower, Aaron Bower, Kyle Bower, Lacey Wilson Iles, and Beth Guisinger.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Norman E. Watts Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 375 E. Main St., Logan, with Rev. Rowena MacGregor assisted by Archdeacon Paul Scanlan as celebrants. Ruth will be cremated and interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, at a later date. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
