Sabrina Ann Bush

Sabrina Ann Bush, age 55, of The Plains, went to be with the Lord on August 15, 2023 at Fairfield Medical Center surrounded by her family and friends.

Born December 9, 1967, in Columbus, Ohio, she graduated Alexander High School in 1986 and Hocking College in 2005 as a registered nurse. She worked at many nursing facilities. More recently, she worked at the Laurels of Athens as a unit manager. She will be remembered for her strength and love for her family. She touched the lives of many and always had an open door for anyone in need. Sabrina had a love for camping, being outside, and more than anything, she loved late night talks with the ones she loved.

She is survived by the love of her life, Charles Wachenschwanz; sons, Josh Wachenschwanz and Michael Bush; daughter, Tiffany Bush; daughter-in-law, Brittany Wachenschwanz; grandchildren, Jaylynn, Kenzie, Charles, and Carson; brother, Randy (Jennifer) Jones; nephew, Ryan (Victoria) Jones; nieces, Mallory Jones and Alexis Jones; and great niece, Thea Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Phyllis Jones; husband, David Bush; grandparents, Grover (Stella) Griffith and Charles (Charlottie) Jones; sister-in-law, Shari Jones; father-in-law, Kenner Bush; aunt, Debbie (Donnie) Johnson; uncles, Roland (Ellery) Jones, Freddy Smallwood, Carl Cole, Bill (Judy) Jones, Clifton Johnson, Donnie Cavins, and Hilliard Newman.

Visitation hours will be held 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 20, 2023 and 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday, August 21, 2023 followed by a funeral at 12:00 PM on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville, Ohio 45764 . The pastor from Bethel Apostolic Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield Ohio.
