Sandra Ann Hughes

Sandra Ann Hughes, 81, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at her residence.  She was born September 7, 1941, in McArthur, daughter of the late James and Dorothy Crow Potts.  Sandra was married for 34 years to the late Clarence Emmett Hughes.

She retired from the Clark County Library in Nevada and was a member of the McArthur Eagles.  Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family and her weekly trips to the casino with her sister-in-law, Kay.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Clancy of McArthur; daughters, Cristina (George) DiBello of Goose Creek, South Carolina and Shawna (Miguel) Valdes of Statham, Georgia; grandchildren, Kenneth (Nikkita) Clancy III, Kaleigh (Zack), Elena and Alexis; great grandchildren, Ella, Joe and Lacie and her foster son, Howard Grow of Cleveland.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Vincent Clancy; granddaughter, Amby Clancy Monroe and daughter-in-law, Tammy Jo Clancy.

Private services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
