Sandra Sue Sweeney

Sandra Sue Sweeney, 58, of McArthur, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Maple Hills Nursing Home in McArthur.  She was born June 30, 1959 in Portsmouth, Ohio, daughter of the late Richards Clyde Scott and Peggy Sunafrank Martin.  Sandra was married for 36 years to Carlos Sweeney, who survives.

She was a member of Chestnut Grove Church and formerly worked for Vinton Industries in McArthur.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Christopher Scott of McArthur and Timothy (Abranda) Scott of Reynoldsburg; grandchildren, Dalton, Julia, Lucas, Garret and Jon Scott; brother, Randy (Debra) Scott of California; sisters-in-law, Terry Crown of Vinton County and Pauline Hall of Jackson and brother-in-law, Delbert (Barbara) Sweeney of Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Chestnut Grove Church, Vinton County, with Rev. Jim Wine officiating.  Friends may call at the church on Wednesday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
