Sarah Lynn Frazier, 64, of Nelsonville, Ohio was called home to her Lord and Savior on January 19, 2024, while surrounded by her loving family. Sarah was born in 1959 in Nelsonville, Ohio to Margaret (Stedwill) and Harley Joe Hubble.
Sarah was a 1978 graduate of Nelsonville-York High School. After high school, Sarah would go on to obtain her BSN from Ohio University and MSN Ed. from Bellarmine University. Sarah would begin her career as a Registered Nurse at O’Bleness Hospital, before finding her true calling, as a Nursing Professor. Sarah would spend over 32 years at Hocking College, where she educated and mentored countless nursing students. Sarah retired in 2021, as Program Manager of Nursing at Hocking College.
After her retirement in 2021, Sarah dedicated her time to family, friends and serving at her local church. Sarah was a beloved grandmother and enjoyed spoiling her 6 grandchildren. Sarah lived life to the fullest and always made a positive impact in the lives of those around her. Sarah was a truly selfless person, willing to devote her time, talent and treasure to those in need. Sarah was also known for her love of animals, especially her two favorite dogs, Gabby and Finn.
Sarah was a devoted wife to Daniel Frazier, whom she wed, December 15, 1990. Sarah was a wonderful mother to her three children Joe, Lenna and Emma. Sarah also shared a special bond with her three older siblings.
Sarah is survived by her husband, Daniel; three children, Joe (Chelsie) Frazier of Amesville, Lenna Frazier of Nelsonville, Emma (Hunter) Carver of Corning; as well as six grandchildren, Samuel, Gwenyth, Eleanor, Margaret, Theodore and Coleson. Sarah is also survived by her three older siblings, Beth (Ed) Sipe, Meg Shingler and Joe (Cheryl) Hubble. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, Harley Joe and Margaret Hubble.
The family would like to send a special thank you to The Ohio State University Hospital, Lenna, Emma, Chelsie, Dan and Meg for providing excellent care to Sarah in her final days. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hocking County Humane Society. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life, on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Christ Community Wesleyan Church, 6275 Kenney Memorial Ln. Albany, Ohio 45710.
