Scott Franklin Waldron

Scott Franklin Waldron, 88, of Chillicothe, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at his residence.  He was born July 22, 1934, in Harrison Township, Vinton County, Ohio, son of the late Calvin and Ella Scott Waldron.  Scott was married to Rita Rhodes Waldron, who survives.

He retired from Mead Paper Mill in Chillicothe, was a motorcycle enthusiast, enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach.  Scott was a dog lover and was a handyman.

He is survived by his son, Jeff Waldron of Harrison Township; daughter, Rhonda (Tim) O’Donnell of Ashville; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his daughter, Debora Bledsoe; son, David Waldron; sisters, Edna Sands, Duddie Davidson, Katie Adams and Ruth Seitz.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2023, in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.  Interment will be in Londonderry Cemetery, Londonderry.  Visitation will be held Monday, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
