Sean Andrew Cook Sr.

Sean Andrew. Cook Sr., 54, of McArthur, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020, at his residence.  He was born March 16, 1966, in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Sharon Tilley Cassleman.   Sean was married for 25 years to Shannon Marie McManis Cook, who survives.

He was a wrestling coach and volunteer for Wellston Schools and was a volunteer for the republican party in Michigan.  Sean was a member of the FFA and McArthur Eagles.  He loved to golf, power lift, strength train, shoot pool, fishing, traveling, and reading.

Sean is survived by his son, Sean Andrew Cook Jr., of McArthur; brother, Scot (Amy) Cook of Jackson; sisters, Stephanie Cook of Wellston and Sable (Kim) Choals of Lowell, Michigan and mother-in-law, Carolyn McManis of McArthur.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, who he called ‘mom and dad”, Ruth and Jack Tilley and his father-in-law, Roy McManis.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
