Shane Green

With deepest sorrow, we announce that, Shane Green, age 30, has passed away tragically on May 6, 2020.

Shane will be greatly missed everyday by his father, Leland Green, his mother, Carmen, brother Sean, sister, Amber, niece, Alexis, nephew Kai, grandparents Leland and Doris Green, great grandparents, Fred and Carmen.  Along with his loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and many great friends.

Shane grew up in Fremont, Ohio.  That is where he unwillingly attended Fremont Ross High School and Vanguard.  After high school, Shane moved to Southern Ohio with his best friend/father, to live on their own little chunk of paradise.  Surrounded by beautiful land, hills, trees, and ponds to regularly enjoy the activities he loved the most.  Hunting, fishing and recklessly riding anything with wheels.  He later in life took on his parents’ love for Harley Davidson and treasured his Springer Softail.

Anyone lucky enough to know Shane, even for a short while, knows what a hardworking, kind, generous, loyal, and goofy person he was.  He had this incredible talent to make pretty much anyone laugh at any given time – whether that time was “appropriate.”

We ask everyone to not only remember Shane’s incredible spirit, but to always appreciate and cherish the moments you have with the ones you love.  Life is unpredictable and at times can be unfairly cut much too short.

No services will be held at this time.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
