Sharon Lynn Allen

Sharon Lynn Allen, 70, of Nelsonville, passed away Friday September 11, 2020 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in The Plains. She was born July 9, 1950 in Nelsonville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Glenn and Erma Blackstone Murphy.  She was married to Neil V. Allen who survives.

She loved her family very much, and she was greatly loved and will be sadly missed.

Along with her husband, Sharon is survived by sons, Michael (Nicole) Byrd of Little Hocking and Brian (Paula) Allen of Pickerington; daughter, Laura Allen of Chauncey; grandchildren, Nathan, Jacob, Karlee, Derrek, Jerred and Krystn, Courtney, Evan and Olivia; brother, Chuck (Sandy) Pyett of Nelsonville; several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Junior Pyett and sister, Sandy Burley.

It was the wish of Sharon to be cremated, and no services will be held at this time.  A private burial will take place later in Connett Cemetery, Nelsonville.  Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
