Sharon Ann Stover, 74, of Nelsonville, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 11, 1944 in Nelsonville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Edward and Regina Davis Evans. She was the widow of the late Charles Franklin “Charlie” Stover who passed away in 2007.
She was retired from Goodyear in Logan after 33 years of service and she was co-owner, with her late husband Charlie, of C&S Concessions. Sharon attended Nelsonville Wesleyan Church. She was greatly loved by her family and will be sadly missed.
Sharon is survived by loving daughters, Tammy (Doug) Conley of Nelsonville, Dottie (Jerry) Adkins of Nelsonville, Tina (Rafael) Gilbraith of New Marshfield and Charlene “Charlie” (Larry) Davis of Racine; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother in law, George (Gina) Stover of Shawnee; many nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth Stover; brother, William “Buzz” Evans; sister, Edwine “Jean” McCoy; brothers in law and sisters in law.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday March 7, 2018 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Pastor Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Carbon Hill Cemetery, Hocking County. Friends may visit Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
