Sheila Ann Savage

Sheila Ann Savage, 75, of Buchtel, passed away at her home on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Sheila was born August 26, 1948, in Nelsonville, the daughter of the late Denver Lee and Mary Louise (Allbaugh) Mohney.

Sheila worked for 33 years as a case worker for Athens County Job & Family Services. Sheila loved cooking, spending time with her beloved family, and hosting and attending family gatherings.

Sheila is survived by her children, Jonathan (Heidi) Schenz of Belpre, Ohio, Charles (Krissy) Savage of Bolivar, Ohio, and Chettia (Kevin) Walker; grandchildren, Jocelyn (Chris) Thompson, Vincent (Lacey) Pastol, Anzley (Collin) Greene, Aubrey Schenz, and Avery Savage; great grandchildren, Alec, Laker, Oakley, Thaxton, and Jaxon; and siblings, Lynn Etta (Mark) Brandt of Avon Lake, Ohio, Alice (Frank) Standall of Bessemer, and Les Mohney of Buchtel.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jeffrey Mohney, Allan Mohney, Don Mohney, and Eric Mohney; and husband, Randy Savage.

A private Celebration of Life service will be held this Saturday. Interment will be in Whitmore Cemetery, Buchtel.
