Sherman Kinder (1959 - 2023)

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son, brother, and friend, Sherman Woodrow “Woody” Kinder, of McArthur.  He passed on the morning of Thanksgiving Day, November 23 at the age of 64 surrounded by family.

He is survived by his mother, Donna Storts of McArthur, Ohio, his sister Lena Lyons, niece, Jess Lyons and nephew, Mitch Lyons, his caring stepsisters Elaine Storts Evans and Vicki Storts of McArthur, Ohio, Kim Brown and Kelly Barchet of Columbus and special someone Linda Bowe Mason. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Woody had a heart of gold and always put others before himself.  He'll be greatly missed by all those who knew him. His unique light burned so bright and will never be extinguished or forgotten.

A private graveside ceremony will take place at Putnam Chapel Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to thank the Riverside neuro ICU team for their compassionate care.
