Shonata Renea "Taya" Holbrook

Shonata Renea “Taya” Holbrook, 25, of Glouster, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital in Athens. She was born February 6, 1992 in Columbus, daughter of the late Paul Byron Lenigar and Velma Ruth Johnson (Christopher Morris) Lenigar of Glouster. Taya was married to Joshua L. Holbrook who survives.

Taya had a zest for life and was greatly loved and will be sadly missed.

Along with her mother and step-father and husband, Taya is survived by her beloved children, Joey LeWayne Holbrook and Josee Mae Holbrook; father and mother-in-law, Michael and Rhonda Holbrook of Glouster; brother, Byron (Megan) Lenigar of Glouster; step-sisters, Stephanie McCown of Nelsonville and Carrie Lenigar of Dayton; special sister, Britnie (Michael Marks) Holbrook; nieces and nephews.

Along with her father, Taya was preceded in death by daughter, Alyssa Jane Holbrook; maternal grandmother, Rhoda Mae Johnson; paternal grandparents, Walter “Junior” and Delma Lenigar.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday February 3, 2018 at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main St., Glouster. Friends may visit on Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
