Stephen S. Davidson

Stephen S. Davidson, 81, of Londonderry, passed away Monday, September 2, 2024, at his residence. He was born January 22, 1943, in Radcliffburg, Ohio, son of the late Paul J. and Duddie A. Waldron Davidson. Stephen was married to Cheryl A. Gearing Davidson, who survives.

He retired from Kenworth Trucking in Chillicothe and was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam Era. Stephen was an avid farmer and enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s athletics. 

He is survived by his children, Jodell (Shawn Riley) Davidson of McArthur, Wesley Davidson of Londonderry, Wade Davidson of Londonderry and Matthew (Billilyn) Davidson of McArthur; ten grandchildren, Ben (Makerestin) Kinnison, Bethany (Caleb Stanley) Kinnison, Lane Davidson, Ty (Gracie) Davidson, Jack Davidson, Gwen Davidson, Madolyn Davidson, Grace Davidson, Asa Davidson and Emma Davidson; brother, Bill Davidson of Laurelville; sisters, Ann Davidson of Batavia, Evelyn Davidson of California and Jean (Gary) Harkless of Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by an infant daughter and brothers, David and Bob Davidson. 

Private family services will be held in the Davidson Family Cemetery in Londonderry, Ohio. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
