Steven Wayne Arnold

Steven Wayne Arnold, 54, of The Plains, formerly of Nelsonville, passed away Wednesday December 5, 2018 at Ohio Health Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.  He was born November 3, 1964 in Nelsonville, Ohio, son of the late Charles Robert and Ellen Bowen Arnold Sr.

He was a retired Auto Mechanic and worked for Badens I Care Auto Repair, after 15 years of service.  He was greatly loved and will be sadly missed.

Steven is survived by his daughters, Heather Churchheus of Dresden and Miranda (Chance Rightmer) Arnold of Junction City; beloved grandchildren, Alexander, Chloe, Caitlin and Gage and Leland; brothers, Charles (Becky) Arnold Jr., Michael (Sherry) Arnold and Brien (Carol) Arnold all of Nelsonville and special brother, Randy Decker of Logan; sisters, Cindy (Denzel) Roberts of Shade, Sherry Vincent of Logan and Lisa (Clarence) Dye of Carbon Hill; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Ellen K. Arnold in 2002; maternal and paternal grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday December 11, 2018 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.  Pastor Robert VanBibber officiating.  Cremation will follow the services.  Friends may visit Monday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
