Steven "Art" James Morley

Steven “Art” James Morley, 67, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.  He was born September 7, 1952, in Logan, Ohio, son of the late William and Ruth Thompson Morley.

Art was a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #132.  He was also a member of the Hamden United Methodist Church, past Master and member of Delta Masonic Lodge #207 F&AM in McArthur and the Aladdin Temple Shrine in Columbus.

Art is survived by his sister, Martisha (Paul) Mercer of McArthur; nephew, Dustin (Billy Tolliver) Mercer of Columbus; nieces, Julie Thompson of McArthur and Laken Fee of McArthur; brother-in-law, Russell Fee of McArthur; cousin, Richard Morley of Tennessee; aunt and uncle, Sharon and Robert Thompson of Columbus and several cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kathryn Morley Fee.

Private funeral services will be held at Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Dan Smith officiating.  Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur.
