Steven Clyde Stratton Sr.

Steven C Stratton Sr., passed away at his little cabin in the woods on July the 31st 2021. At the age of 66 after a short-term fight with cancer. Steven was born July 9th 1955, to Nancy and Clyde Stratton ( in Bryan Ohio).

He graduated in 1973 from Bryan high school and he was a United States Army veteran. He was an avid hunter and fisherman; he loved the outdoors and spending time with family.  Steve was a competitive stock car racer and liked to restore vintage cars and entered many car shows over the years.  He was a lifetime member of the Bryan Eagles. He was a loyal NACAR fan and never missed a race.  As well was a repeat Facebook offender.

He was survived by his wife of 35 years Susan E. Stratton and his four children Steven C. (Stacey) Stratton Jr., Suzanne (Matt) Borton, Mike (Terry) Adams, Sara (Bill) Dahill; seven grandchildren Nolan, Shyanne, Gavin, Zaine, Mason,Gauge, Caitlyn; his loyal dog candy, his siblings Billie Jo Stratton, Bobby Jo Stratton and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by two sisters Cindy Chamberlain, Sally Stratton.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date and no visitation will be held.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
