Steven Edward Wells

Steven Edward “Steve” Wells, 57, of Largo, Florida, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Bay Pines VA Healthcare in Bay Pines, Florida. He was born December 30, 1963 in Toledo, Ohio, the son of the late Walter E. And Gayle S. Wells.

He was a 1982 graduate of Leipsic (Ohio) High School and a U.S. Army veteran. He worked for many years as a mechanic and electrician in Nevada and Florida. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Steve was a caring, loving man with a pleasant demeanor and kind heart. He was greatly loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.

Steve is survived by his step- father, Eldon McKinnon of Henderson, Nevada, sisters Lois Wells of Toledo, Ohio, Brenda (Scott) Kendall of Evanston, Illinois, Laura (Ervin) Howery of Henderson, Nevada, brother Douglas (Amy) Wells of Logan, Ohio, eight nieces, five nephews, two great- nieces and one great nephew.

Along with his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Maryann Paul Wells, brother Larry Wells, sister Susan Henderson, nephew Michael Watkins and niece Michelle Wells.

It was Steve’s wish to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
