Teddy F. "Ted" Frazee

Teddy F. “Ted” Frazee, 84, of Chauncey, passed away Friday May 11, 2018 at his residence.  He was born April 19, 1934 in Athens County, Ohio, son of the late Robert E. and Grace Frazee Hoskins.  He was married to the late Anna Mae Bobo Frazee, who passed away in 1997.

He worked as a Coal Miner, and retired from the Southern Ohio Coal Company after 30 plus years of service.  He was a member of the United Mine Workers Union; Lions Club of Chauncey; he was Past President of the Gold Wings CB Club; and formerly attended Chauncey Christian Church.

Ted is survived by son, John “Michael” (Leslie) Frazee of Debary, Florida; grandsons, John Matthew “Matt” (Rachel) Frazee, Jason Michael (DeAnna) Frazee and Justin Michael Frazee; great-granddaughter, Paige Frazee; best friend and companion, Nancy Frazee and family; brother, Bobby Hoskins of Racine; sister, Sharon Baker of Athens; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Ted was preceded in death by daughter, Paula Marie Frazee; sisters, Barbara Lou Hopkins and Betty Writesel; brothers, William, Larry and Tom Hoskins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.  Rev. Gary Alton officiating.  Interment will be at Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield.  Friends may visit Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
