Terry Lee Holifield

Terry Lee Holifield, 64, of Nelsonville, OH, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 20, 1952, in Jackson, Mississippi son of the late George and Leathe Gill Holifield. He was married to Paula Sue Keiffer Holifield, who survives.

Terry was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  He was a Chef at Ohio University and was also a Sign Technician for Day Nite Sign Co., in Columbus. He was a Boy Scout in his youth and was a Boy Scout Troop Master at #60, Nelsonville. He was greatly loved and will be sadly missed.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Bryan (Mandy) Holifield of Melbourne, Australia and Justin (Desi Boring) Holifield of Nelsonville; step-son, Eddie Edmonds of Lancaster; 8 grandchildren, including Loki and Xavier, Leannda and Nathaniel; great-grandson, Grant; brothers, Tom Holifield of West Virginia, Jim (Donna) Holifield of Mississippi and Jerry Holifield of Georgia; sister, Janet Holifield of Alabama; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Scotty Holifield.

No services will be held. Arrangements are by the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
