Terry Lee Robinette

Terry Lee Robinette, 69, of Nelsonville, passed away at his home on Thursday, August 3, 2023.  He was born on February 26, 1954, in Nelsonville, the son of the late Dondana “Tillie” (McConaha) Forrest and Jack Robinette. He was married to Brenda (Cooper) Robinette who survives.

Terry loved to be doing anything outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, he loved motorcycles, and he loved working with his hands.

Terry is survived by his wife, Brenda; son, Shawn (Christina) Robinette of Michigan; daughters, Tanaya Trentham of Oregonia, Ohio, Terra Jo Hamilton of Chauncey, Patricia “Trish” (Shyane Welch) Robinette of Nelsonville, and Angie (David) Hopkins of Nelsonville; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and stepbrothers, Ronald Forrest and Michael (Kathy) Forrest.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Walter Forrest; twin sons, Larry and Jerry Robinette; sister, Priscilla Kaye McConaha; and good friends, JoAnn Conley and David Ray Holley.

A private Celebration of Life for Terry will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.

A special thank you to Terry’s granddaughters, Shannon Welch, Brandy Welch, and Ivy Rowe for the loving care they provided Terry and Brenda.
