Thelma Marie Lemay

Thelma Marie LeMay, 77, of Zaleski, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.  She was born September 1, 1941 in Vinton County, Ohio, daughter of the late Clifton Alfonzo and Violet Pearl Peck Albaugh.  Thelma was the widow of the late Ben LeMay.

She retired from Austin Powder Company after 23 years, formerly worked at General Mills and attended Zaleski Freewill Baptist Church.

Thelma is survived by her daughter, Angela (Ron) Courtney of Union Furnace; sons, Bennie LeMay of Zaleski, Terry (Danielle) LeMay of New Plymouth and Darren Scott LeMay of Zaleski; grandchildren, Ronnie Lee Jr., Holly, Brianna and Grace; great grandchildren, Ethan, Garrett, Liam and Jackson; sisters, Doris Daniels of Westerville and Donna Ely of Bucyrus and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, George, Frank and Donald Albaugh and twin sister, Velma Mae Johnson.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, May 2, 2019 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Mark Rood officiating.  Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Zaleski.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
