Thomas Bradley Maiden, 49, of Nelsonville, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017 at his residence. He was born October 20, 1968 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, son of the late Rex E. and Nancy Sue Smith Maiden. Tom was married to Kelly Dishong Maiden, who survives.
He was the Street Superintendent for the City of Nelsonville, was a member of the Hocking Valley Sportsman’s Association and enjoyed shooting. Tom dedicated his life to his loving family and spending quality time with them.
In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by sons, Justin and Garrett Maiden, both of Nelsonville; brother, Jay Maiden of Chauncey, Tim (Paula) Maiden of Nelsonville and Jeff Maiden of The Plains; sister, Susan (Lee) Allen of Miami, Florida; father and mother-in-law, Bob (Cheryl) Dishong, of Nelsonville and several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Beth Ann Maiden.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, October 31, 2017 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Father Christopher Foxhoven officiating. Interment will be in Whitmore Cemetery, Buchtel. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
