Thomas "Tom" Earl Reynolds

Thomas (Tom) E. Reynolds, 77, of Newark, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024, at FAIRHOPE Hospice - Pickering House in Lancaster. 

He was born on March 13, 1947 in McArthur, Ohio to the late Ernest and Lucille (Fee) Reynolds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gene, John, Marvin, Edwin, David and his sister, Vera Tedrick.  

A graduate of McArthur High School, a United States Army veteran and a member of McArthur Masonic Delta Lodge #207, Tom retired from CSX railroad in Savannah, Georgia. After retirement, he moved back to Ohio to be closer to his family despite not enjoying the winter season! Tom enjoyed watching football and Westerns, as well as spending time outdoors doing yard work and watching deer and other wildlife.  

He is survived by his children Holly (Jamie) Mason and Kristin (Tom) Shuman; his grandchildren Emma, William and Elizabeth; sisters Ethel (Charles) Short and Evelyn Steinberg; several nieces and nephews and his canine companion, Gizmo. 

A private burial will be held at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom's name may be made to FAIRHOPE in Lancaster, Ohio or a charity of your choice.
